windowlight assignment

our windowlight assignment, one of of the first ones from last semester. this shot looks simple, which to some degree it was because of the easy natural light from one window and two fill cards. however, the manual focusing was ridiculous. i would focus on the straws on the bottom on each side then change to get the top straw down too.

d200 set at f3.2 manual @ 1/200th of a second. iso 100, 55mm lens

Chocolate Assignment

one of our last assignments for biocommunication object lighting. chocolate was a lot harder to shoot than i thought. i did multiple set-ups but kevin, my teacher, advised me to go with this one. thanks to my parents for being caterers and teaching me how to make food look presentable, hah.

d200 at 1/80th of a second at f11 with nikon 24-85mm f/4 lens.
